Entertainment

Yo, sup? So we pass the many hours of sitting on our rear ends by staring at that infamous thing we call the "Television". If you'll notice, our "chairs" are actually Humvee seats, that we tacticaly borrowed from nearby units. They work quite well, except when you lean to far back and fall over.
I got my hair cut today, they do an 'ok' job, but what can i expect from a 3 minute razer tornado on my head, and all for 3 dollars. I payed for the cut in "pogs" (cardboard money thats used instead of change), the guy at the counter didn't look to pleased, but he had to accept them anyways. and i was sick of them floating around in my pocket.
I also dropped of my laundry today. Yes, they wash and fold our laundry for us. Free. can't beat that. They even pair my socks.
One of the guys in my section is into japanese anime stuff. At first i thought it was quite retarded. Than i started paying attention to this particuler show called "Naruto" it's actually somewhat interesting, almost as good as voltron was. (Nothing will ever beat voltron though, end of story.) The guy that likes anime, also just bought an Xbox 360, so he's been playing that all day. I'm not really into video games anymore, i'd rather go do something more constructive, like sleep, or play chess, or eat, or fill sandbags, or make the PFC take "Humvee exhaust samples" and have him give it to the Lieutenent..."Here sir, you're suppose to smell this..."

Hey Jer!

Glad to see this blog, it's interesting to see the stuff that's going on, I can see you've still got your sense of humor, and that's a very good thing.

So, the upside-down hummer picture... Is there a story behind it?

Later!

Well I leave next week to go play my part in the sandbox. I am either going to Fallujah or Ramadi. I am pushing for Fallujah as I know you are there as well as a few EOD friends of mine. Hope all is well for you.

Hello Jerry;
Its been a while... Its good to see that you have a cover over your heads. Last time around in the great terrain of Iraq...you had phone sleeping on top of the Humvee's.
Keep safe and hurry back.
