With extra time on my hands, and a huge scrap would pile behind the hooch, I thought I would expand my area. Currently, I have a small wall-locker, a footlocker-type-box, and a bed. I bought some little plastic drawer thingies from the PX to put my clothes in. And I “tactically acquired” a small metal stand for my laptop. My “new” building objectives are:
1. Desk
2. Dresser
3. Closet with hanger rack
4. More space
I had to consider the lack of space I have to cram all this stuff into as well. I tore my bed apart and used scrap would to raise my bed 5 ½ feet off the ground. Built a staircase up to it (yes, a staircase – not a ladder), and built my desk in the corner, under the bed. I’m still working on the closet & dresser piece. I’m hoping to have that done by next week, assuming it stops raining. Not that I mind working in the rain, I just don’t want to be “playing” with electrically operated power tools while soaking wet.
On another note, I think I’m addicted to pineapple juice. I can’t stop drinking the stuff.
