Washing Machine

Statistically speaking, if a person stops updating there website, people generally stop visiting it.

The correlation seams quite profound really. Just imagine if people stopped coming to your house because you don't re-arrange your furniture regularly?

Which probably means if you stopped changing your clothes, people will stop visiting your home as well.

This leads to the only logical conclusion: if you stop doing laundry, people will stop coming to your blog.

Did you mean for your analogy to be so dramatically flawed? You have to consider the purpose behind people's desire to visit your house versus their desire to visit your website.

People come to your house to engage in social interaction of some kind. People visit your website to learn and attain new information or services.

If the information they are receiving from your website is out of date or there is nothing new for them to learn and attain, why visit?

A better analogy would be if people always come to your house when nobody is home. If they are not going to receive what they came for, they will stop coming.

That's a good argument, i agree. It also happens that i don't really do anything overly interesting.

So when people come over to my house, i have nothing new to share.

Which corresponds to the issue at hand (rarely updating my blog)which all stems from the same reason, my relatively boring lifestyle.

I personally would rather think people don't like my furniture arrangement, but i know the truth, i'm just boring.
